Please join us on March 3rd for our “We are the Church” Sunday school program. It is aimed at being social justice oriented, Christian spirituality based, and community service focused. In this curriculum, we will have 6 week “units” in which we explore a theological theme, while walking students through the steps of volunteering with a community organization.

This unit’s theme is “Mental Health and Contemplative Practices”, and we will focus on the  connection between mental health and Christian practices, specifically on spirituality and contemplative action. This unit, we will be traveling on a mini “retreat” to the Avila Center at the end of the unit.
